Alexa, play ‘Pure Imagination’
The talented crew over at the Imperial Hotel have only gone and done it again.
To celebrate Easter, the Imperial Hotel are pulling out all the stops and are running a ‘Grace and the Chocolate Factory’ theme, and it looks mouth-wateringly sensational.
And if you’re wondering who this Grace person is, let me explain. Inspired by the famous Princess Grace Kelly (who stayed at the hotel 60 years ago), Grace has become the hotels mascot, embodying the sophisticated fun and and spirit of the Grand Dame. Grace can be seen throughout the hotel and on the artwork in Sketch, brought to life by artist Ethan Desmond.
And now for the sweet stuff.
Brought to life by Sandra Looney from To Have and To Hold, the chocolate display in the lobby of the hotel is a chocoholics dream come true, complete with giant sweets, chocolate sweets and golden tickets hanging from the lobby ceiling.
They also have a vintage sweet cart, a Willy Wonka-inspired photo wall, and a Grace and the Chocolate Factory Gateway for the most Instagrammable photo ops.
The hotel is also offering an exciting ‘Grace and the Chocolate Factory Package’, which includes the following:
- 2 nights bed & breakfast
- Afternoon tea on a day of your choice
- A chocolate bar with a golden ticket (where one lucky winner will receive €1000 hotel credit!)
In addition to this, guests also have the option to add the ‘Chocolate Body Cocoon’ treatment at Escape Spa. For an additional €139pp, this 1hr15m treatment is the ultimate gift for chocaholics.
The heavenly chocolate-scented body treatment sees cocoa-rich formula applied to the skin. Known for its anti-ageing, toning and softening qualities, the body is left feeling exfoliated and nourished through the use of a dry-brushing technique using chocolate infused essential oils followed by full body application of melting heated cocoa lotion. As you lie cocooned on a heated bed wrapped in blankets, a relaxing head and foot massage will help to balance the whole body.
TAKE. MY. MONEY.
