The crew from Not Another Disco! celebrate their first birthday this weekend, and they’re throwing a massive birthday party at the Pav to celebrate.
After building a strong community of music lovers across the city, the guys are throwing a huge birthday bash to celebrate a year of legendary parties. Bringing some of Irelands top DJ acts such as Get Down Edits, Ricky Chong and George Feely to Leeside, the parties have gone from strength to strength.
They have also set up their own label with 2 releases from “NODEN” and produce a now well followed guest mix series. To top things off, this weekend they welcome legendary special guest Fingerman to celebrate their birthday in style!
Fingerman has become a stalwart in the disco and house scene! Originating from Brighton, he has held a vinyl residency at the legendary Casablanca Jazz club. He has also built a career releasing his own edits, receiving wide ranging support from legendary artist such as Greg Wilson and Dimitri From Paris. He also runs the Hot Digits Music label which is entering its 10th year now, with over 100 releases under its belt.
The label has made serious waves in the underground disco and house scene, with some number one slots on Juno Download and releases from established artists such as Dr Packer, Late Nite Tuff Guy and Hotmood. He is no stranger to the live circuit either, appearing at The Southport Disco Festival, Glastonbury and The Lost Disco Festival in Tisno, Croatia in recent years.
