The Boathouse Coffee House & Bakery introduced “The Long Boat” to their menu last week,
and we have no doubt that it’ll be a crowd pleaser all summer long.
This deliciously tempting dessert consists of a sugary donut, Folláin raspberry jam on the inside, and it’s topped with soft serve vanilla ice cream. Do we need to say any more?
The inspiration behind the dessert comes from a classic childhood favourite, the Artic Roll.
“Vibes from the 90s but with a Kiera twist,” they said!
Located in the Dripsey/Coachford area, The Boathouse is a dog-friendly café that serves up tea, coffee, cakes, bakes, and more. Their coffee truck, The Boathouse Buoy, can be found in
various locations around Cork and even does catering, weddings, and events.
