You can have afternoon tea aboard a vintage 1960’s bus while touring Cork

If you’re not having your afternoon tea on the top deck of a 1960’s bus then you’re missing out.

Vintage Tea Trips is returning to Cork this November, and it’s nothing short of an incredible experience. But what is it, you ask?

Basically, you meet outside the Maldron Hotel on South Mall, board the vintage Routemaster bus and enjoy a top-notch afternoon tea, served to you while embarking on a historical tour of Cork city, all whilst listening to 1950’s jazz music.

The busses are fully deked out in vintage decor, with retro 2 and 4 seater booths, all boasting panoramic views of the city. The exclusive menu of delectable afternoon treats is handmade each morning by Mags from The Pastry Fork, served with freshly brewed Barry’s Tea.

They have a full gluten free, vegan and vegetarian menu, and even have VIP top deck seating options available, which are the very front 4 seats on the upper level (for the best views!)

Vintage Tea Trips will be coming to Cork for three dates in November on the 12th, 13th & 14th and tickets can be purchased via their website here, staring at €47.50 for adults and €25 for children aged 4-14.
