Mark September 12th in the calendar.

The Viaduct Inn has finally released a date for their highly anticipated reopening, and it’s going to have a completely different look and service offering.

The Viaduct Café, Market and Restaurant‘ (as the name would suggest) will be relaunching as a brand new dining destination, including a 30-seater cafe, 120-seater restaurant and a food market.

The cafe will be serving an all-day menu along with brunch specials on the weekend, while the restaurant will be serving tasty lunchtime roasts and an evening à la carte menu. The venue will also include a private dining space for up to 60 people, along with an outdoor BBQ area, and a food & drink retail market full of artisan products from East & West Cork.

The new owners, Cliste Hospitality have promised that the Viaduct Inn has undergone a complete renovation and will create 40 new jobs in the area. “We are looking forward to welcoming our first guests through the doors of the new look Viaduct,” mentions Paul Fitzgerald, CEO of Cliste Hospitality.

The venue sits on the Bandon Road, just outside Bishopstown and boasts views of the iconic Chetwynd Viaduct bridge, which once carried trains on its single line to West Cork up until 1961.

The Viaduct Café will be open daily from 7am-5pm, the restaurant will operate from 5pm-9pm and the market will run from 7am-7pm.
