And trust us when we say it was DELISH!
If you’re a fan of Sunday roasts then you’re in luck, because The River Lee Hotel has just launched a very unique take on this classic dish.
The Roast Club, The Grill Room’s special Sunday lunch offering completely turns the traditional expectations of a Sunday Roast on its head. Served on a sharing platter for two, this elevated experience combines three premium Irish meats that are perfect for sharing, without having to sacrifice on the very best quality or choice.
This delectable trio includes a pan-fried Quigley’s Angus steak with grilled asparagus, a rack and shoulder of Quigley’s lamb with shallot and thyme stuffing and a roast supreme of Irish chicken with foie gras duxelles.
The sharing board is perfectly paired with delicious sides of truffle pomme purée, honey-glazed local carrots, pont neuf potato, red wine jus and béarnaise sauce.
Situated on the banks of the roaring River Lee, guests can sit back and relax with some of the best views of Cork city – the perfect place to enjoy every last drop of the weekend.
The Roast Club starts from €70 for the sharing plate for two plus sides and is available from October 1st. You can try one for yourself at The River Lee Hotel over on Western Road, and you can book your table on their website over at www.theriverclubcork.ie
