Behold: The Clonakilty Taste and Tipple Tours
Make sure you’ve got a day free in your calendar this July or August for a new tour in
Clonakilty that puts the spotlight on both local produce and hospitality!
The Clonakilty Taste and Tipple Tours, taking place from the 3 rd of July until the 28th of August, will guide you around the gorgeous West Cork town, stopping at different locations to meet local producers, learn about the industry, and – of course – try lots of different food and drink.
Over the course of the afternoon, you’ll be guided by Lorna O’Regan to 8 different locations,
including The Olive Branch, Gearóidín’s, Revel, Wazzy Woo, An Súgán, Scally’s SuperValu,
and the Clonakilty Distillery.
You can expect to see – and taste – the expertise and skill that go into these local products, all from the town’s shops, cafés, and restaurants. O’Regan, who is a nutritionist and health and fitness coach, will share her knowledge of food, health, and nutrition along the way as well.
The tour takes place every Wednesday from 2pm to 6pm for the months of July and August,
and the meeting point is at Spillers Lane. Tickets for the Clonakilty Taste and Tipple Tour
cost €70 and can be purchased on the FeelGood Health & Fitness website.
