Sushi-lovers all over Cork can rejoice as a brand new Sushi spot has just opened it’s doors on Washington Street.
Inspired by the ‘Ring of Fire’, Tiki Poke Company aims to supply fresh, healthy Pacific culinary flavours to the people of Cork. Opened by New Zealander Trinette Porter and her Cork Husband Humphrey, the new Sushi bar boasts delicious Poke Bowls, açaí bowls, homemade granola and sushirittos (like a burrito, but with sushi!)
A sister company of nearby Cafe Depeche, Tiki Poke Company explores the different volcanic regions around the Pacific in order to create a culinary experience unique to Cork, boasting staple menu items such as the Pina Colada smoothie, the Watermelon Poke bowl and Shrimp Sushiritto.
The staff here don’t do things by half’s – flaunting Hawaiian flower necklaces and tropical shirts, serving us some serious Pacific energy! They’ve already gained huge traction since their grand opening, and have also just announced the launch of a new exotic brunch menu.
Here’s a sneak peak at what’s coming to the menu soon:
Sound tempting? You can grab your fix today at 12a, Washington Street.
