But you have to ask specifically for it.
Orso Kitchen and Bar wanted to create something unique and memorable for the Cork nightlife scene, so they came up with a brand new concept.
The new ‘Secret Cocktail’ menu will only be available in-house to those who ask for it, and it promises to bring a unique concoction of Cork-inspired drinks. The menu will change every month, with three exciting new cocktail creations each named after old Cork lanes and famous Corkonians.
Speaking to Craving Cork about the new concept, Orso Kitchen and Bar Manger Rob Hayes mentions:
“We want to create a unique and memorable experience for our guests. After extending our evening opening hours to Tuesday – Saturday, we wanted to put our stamp on the city’s night scene with something exciting.”
Last months trio of cocktails included ‘Featherblade’, ‘Gunpowder’ and ‘R. Gallagher’, and rumour has it next month’s menu will feature ingredients like orange blossom, aloe vera, candied hazelnuts, apple whiskey and even peanut butter whiskey. Once the secret cocktail menu is requested, guests will be taken on guided tour of the more experimental side of the bar, and the whole experience promises to be full of theatre and bold flavours.
You can check out the new menu for yourself over at Orso Kitchen and Bar on Pembroke Street.
