The Improv Panto just announced two nights in St Luke’s this December

Following a break last year due to the pandemic, the hugely popular Improv Panto will be returning to Cork for two nights only this December.

This year’s show will include a star-studded cast, featuring Laura O’ Mahony Comedy, Bernard Casey Comedy, Laura Harte, Cornelius Patrick O’ Sullivan, and Dominic McHale.

Practical and logistical reasons meant a return to their usual Cork Opera House late night stage wasn’t an option this year, but the gang are more than delighted to take to the stage Live at St Lukes for two nights only.

Some of Cork’s funniest and talented improvisers will present a different pantomime for each show, based on the audience’s choice. It’s all improvised, and nothing is scripted. The audience choose what panto they’d like to see, and who plays what character. Expect the unexpected, the hilarious and the outrageous as the actors weave their way through classic fairy tales without so much as a trail of breadcrumbs to guide them wherever the audience wants them to go.

With live music thrown into the mix, not only will the actors have to come up with the script, they will also have to improvise up a few lyrics. What will they be singing about?

The Improvised Panto is fast becoming an annual tradition with many partygoers looking for a fun, enjoyable, outrageous night out, but be warned, this show is NOT suitable for children!

The shows will performed at St Lukes on Friday December 10 and Saturday December 11, at 18:30 and 20:45 each night. Tickets cost €22.50 + booking fee and can be purchased online via LiveatStLukes.com.
