They’re pulling out all the stops this year!

Paddy’s Day is almost upon us, and figuring out where to go in the city can seem like mission impossible, so we had a chat with Cork Heritage Pubs to find out what’s on offer across their Cork City venues. From live music, DJs, trad music and more, you’ll be spoilt for choice!

Live Music & Events

Pavilion

The Pav on Carey’s Lane will be the gem of this St. Patrick’s Day weekend. They have a jam-packed line-up from traditional Irish music to some of the best bands in Ireland. Intermission downstairs will be open from 2pm daily and until late Thursday-Sunday!

Ceili by the Lee – 2pm

Skazz – 4pm

Va Va Voom – 7pm

Live Lizzy – 9:30pm

DJ Ian Richards – 11:30pm – late

Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega

The Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega will boast one of the finest line-ups of entertainment in the city in one of Ireland’s most beautiful venues.

Kids face painting 2pm – 5pm

Sing It Back – 7:30pm

The Hollyz – 9pm

Crane Lane

Crane Lane Theatre also has a jam-packed line-up for Paddy’s weekend, kicking things off on Thursday with a pre-paddys party.

The famous Canty’s House on Pembroke street is another one to add to the list this Paddy’s Day.

Trad Music

Sin É

Located on Coburg Street, Sin É is a cultural marvel and one of Ireland’s finest traditional pubs. It is one of the few venues in the city with daily traditional Irish music sessions. They’ll be playing live trad music all week from 6:30pm and it’s a venue much coveted on St. Patricks day, so make sure you get in relatively early to enjoy the festivities in traditional style!
