This is going to be your best friend for the weekend ahead
If you’re heading out for the coveted Guinness Cork Jazz Festival this year, but you haven’t a notion as to where to party, then this handy website is just what you need.
With hundreds of events taking place across numerous bars in the city, trying to decide what to do, where to go, and who to see can prove to be very stressful indeed.
The good people over at Cork Pub Trails have launched their extremely helpful ‘Jazz Weekend Events and Gigs’ trail for the weekend ahead. This super helpful website allows users to choose from three separate tabs when searching for where to party:
- Discover Music: this tab allows the user to search for Jazz gigs by selecting the day, time, whether or not there is a DJ and by selecting a venue.
- Music Trails: this tab generates a trail map of bars in close proximity to one another, and you can choose from trails like ‘I’m Wearing Heels’, ‘North Side Jazz’, and ‘Out Early, Home Early’.
- Band Finder: Got a favourite band that you’re dying to see? The final tab allows you to search for each band and shows you their individual timetable and locations for the weekend.
