This Cork fine-dining restaurant has temporarily closed to create a ‘new concept’

Exciting times ahead!

Beloved Cork restaurant Greenes on MacCurtain Street has announced that they will be temporarily closing their restaurant in order to create an entirely different service offering.

Taking to social media to make the announcement on Monday, the restaurant mentions:

“Last night, Sunday, February 25th was our last service as Greenes Restaurant. We feel the restaurant, in its current form, has run its course and we have made the decision to shift from a fine dining offering. Until we reopen we will be busy behind the scenes creating a new concept that we are excited about.

“We have shared many happy moments with our guests over the years and have memories that will be cherished. While we do not yet have a date for a reopening, our new venture will bring a renewed sense of creativity to the space.”

Located on MacCurtain street alongside Isaacs, with an iconic waterfall backdrop, Greene’s has made a name for itself over the years as one the best fine-dining restaurants in the city.

We’re super excited to see what the new concept brings to the table – stay tuned for more updates!
