SWISS Airlines have just announced a weekly Cork – Geneva flight

More good news for Cork airport as SWISS Airlines have just announced a new Cork – Geneva route.

The new route, which will be running once per week, will start operating from December 19th and will run until March 6, 2022, and is available to book from November 5th via The new flight times will operate every Sunday, as follows:

  • Departing Geneva Airport 12:10 (local time)
  • Arriving Cork Airport 13:25
  • Departing Cork Airport 14:10
  • Arriving Geneva Airport 17:20

Commenting on the new flight announcement, Brian Gallagher, Head of Aviation and Commercial Business Development at Cork Airport said:

“Our team at Cork Airport has been working really hard to rebuild our business post-pandemic and listening to our customers in terms of travel needs.

“People across the South of Ireland want winter ski options from Cork Airport and are we are delighted to respond with this new Swiss service. Geneva Airport is placed in the middle of Europe’s best-known skiing region, the Alps, and there are plenty of great ski options within a short distance of the airport.

“Cork Airport will bounce back with new airlines and new services and we look forward to more positive announcements in the weeks ahead”.
