Scottish pub chain BrewDog will be opening their first bar in Cork this summer

It’s going to be one brew-tiful summer

Good news for beer-lovers as BrewDog just announced they will be opening their first Cork bar this summer.

The Scottish craft brewer will be partnering with Westside Leisure Ltd (a local bar & restaurant operator) and will be setting up shop on Washington Street at the former Grand Central Social site.

BrewDog was first established back in 2007 by co-founders James Watt and Martin Dickie. The dynamic duo has taken the craft beer industry by storm, and the brand currently has over 100 bars across the globe in over 60 countries.

The new venue will offer 26 taps of both BrewDog and local craft beers, along with their signature menu of wings, burgers, salads, and a selection of vegan options. BrewDog Cork will operate over three floors, and will also offer spaces for private events, beer tastings and ‘dog pawties.’

Westside Leisure have been around for over 30 years and they currently operate An Brog, Voodoo Rooms, Barbarossa, Alibi Bar and PopScene – they clearly know a thing or two about the pub industry so we have no doubt BrewDog will be a massive hit.

BrewDog Cork will be the chains second Irish bar. There’s no official open date for the venue as of yet, but be sure to keep an eye on their socials for live updates.
