Fancy getting a forever bracelet with your bestie?
If you’ve always wanted one of those permanent bracelets or chains then you’re in luck, because a permanent jewellery brand has just opened in Cork.
But what exactly is permanent jewellery, you ask? Let us explain:
Permanent jewellery is the process of welding the ends of a fine chain together, custom fitted to your body. These jewellery pieces do not have clasps, meaning you can’t take them off. Instead, they’re welded closed after being placed onto your body using specialised equipment (don’t worry, you can actually have them removed if you ever change your mind!)
Taking up residence in the Marina Market, Wildling Permanent Jewellery is the place to go in Cork for some permanent chains. They do everything from bracelets, anklets, necklaces and rings, and they have a large selection of chains to choose from. Chains come in gold, sterling silver or multicoloured, and you can also add a special connector or charm.
Here’s how it works:
Speaking to Craving Cork about the business, founder Aoibheann O’Donovan mentions:
“I’m just a girl from Cork who turned my love for crafting and creating into something that allows me to connect with people in-person, create a memory and just bring a little joy. I love to travel and Wildling pop-ups allow me to do so and meet lovely people from all walks of life. My promise is a quality, long-lasting piece of jewellery – for her, for him, for them and for everyone!”
Wildling currently operates pop-up shops at the Marina Market so be sure to keep an eye on their socials for the next pop-up. You can book your appointment over on their website here.
