‘A Christmas Carol’ returns to Nano Nagle Place next month

Back by popular demand, the sell-out retelling of A Christmas Carol will be returning for the Christmas season.

Oceans of Notions Productions in association with Nano Nagle Place are proud to present this heartfelt retelling of Dickens’ holiday favourite from December 8th – 11th – this is not one to be missed!

This production masterfully brings all of Dickens’ characters to life, and transports the audience to a world of vivid imagery and nostalgia. Together the audience will accompany Ebenezer Scrooge on an evening that is sure to delight and entertain all in attendance. 

Following its previous sold-out runs, this holiday literature classic dramatization has fast become a Christmas tradition for folk from Cork and far beyond, with many audience members being repeat visitors due to the sheer quality and evocative nature of this dramatic retelling.

With its perfect mix of incredible acting, melodic vocal prowess and enchanting soundscape, this retelling of A Christmas Carol is one that stands out as a Christmas calendar highlight.

Warm and enchanting, this dramatic story-telling is peppered with an evocative selection of Early Celtic, Medieval and Victorian carols divinely sung by the inimitable vocalist, Annette Buckley, acted by renowned Shakespearean actor, Kieran O’Leary and directed by Cork theatrical stalworth Judie Chalmers with an original soundscape by Shane O’Sullivan and music arrangements by Simon MacHale.
