The fundraising night is in support of Cork ARC Cancer Support House
Voodoo Rooms have teamed up with top RTÉ stylist Caroline Downey to host a charity fashion show to raise vital funds for Cork ARC Cancer Support House on Friday May 24th at their flagship venue on Oliver Plunkett Street.
“Voodoo Vogue,” promises a night of glamour and fashion and will showcase the best of Cork fashion featuring clothing from Leeside’s premier boutiques, all the while raising much-needed funds for a pivotal resource for individuals and families affected by cancer in the local community.
Head of Services, Cork ARC Cancer Support House Olivia Grace said their charity provides a lifeline to many cancer patients and their families during what can be their most difficult and challenging time.
“Cork ARC provides free vital services such as counselling, complimentary therapies such as acupuncture and reflexology, group support, information sessions and much more. We truly believe that together we do something very special for those facing cancer and we will always strive to ensure nobody needs to face cancer alone,” Ms Grace added.
Tickets are available via Eventbrite.ie and cost €20 and will see Caroline Downey and Red FM’s Colm O Sullivan team up as joint MC’s for the event. Attendees will also enjoy a drinks reception prior to the show and complimentary entry to Voodoo Rooms post event.
In addition to celebrating fashion on the stage, off the stage, the event encourages attendees to “Dress to Impress,” with a “Best Dressed” competition sponsored by Voodoo Rooms, promising an exciting prize for the evening’s most stylish guest.
The event will feature an exclusive fashion showcase from Cork’s premier boutiques, modelled by the professionals from Catwalk Modelling Agency and curated by Celebrity Stylist of the Year, Mandy Maher.
