There’s a massive vintage fair coming to the Marina Market this weekend

Fancy revamping your style?

A huge vintage fair is coming to the Marina Market this weekend, and they’ve pulled out all the stops, selling everything from trendy sustainable clothing to handpicked jewellery.

The brand new ‘Marina Market Vintage Fair’ will be making its debut this Saturday & Sunday, in association with UCC Student’s Union.

The giant vintage market will feature stalls from over 26 vendors from across the country, including Rouge Vintage, 35mm Vintage, Peeco Apparel, Candid Frank, and Funky Garms, to name but a few.

There will also be dedicated DJs playing all weekend to liven up the space, with the likes of County Vinyl, Fleece and many more.

Talking about the new vintage fair online earlier this week, the Marina Market mentions:

“It’s very eco-friendly to buy vintage and shop local; the clothing industry causes a lot of pollution to the world around us. You can treat yourself to something timeless while also helping the environment.”

“Most vintage clothes are of much better quality than your fast fashion store. This is because clothing used to be made to last, so these clothes are usually more durable. Buying vintage means that you’ll probably never match anyone else around you.”

The vintage fair will be taking place this February 12 – 13 from 10am – 6pm at the Marina Market on Centre Park Road.
