Margarita season is official upon us!
The days are getting warmer and the evenings are getting brighter…..that can only mean one thing: Margarita season is fast approaching!
The good folks over at The Liberty Bar on South Main Street have teamed up with local hot sauce brand Tongue Tied to create a brand new margarita menu just in time for those hot summer days.
We had a chat with Liberty Manager Stephen who told us all about the new collab:
“We are delighted to team up with the guys from Tongue Tied Hot Sauce for the launch of our new Margarita Menu, and always strive to work with local producers for our cocktail ingredients and when we discovered the Tongue Tied Hot Sauce in the Marina Market, we knew we found the perfect partner.
“We approached Felix and Alex about working together and see how we could also help promote their sauces.
“Felix always wanted to make a sauce that could be paired with everything and a sauce for everyone, and Alex who worked in a cheffing background was always playing around with recipes and I wanted to make three unbelievably cool hot sauces, with three vibrant colours, which he has created.
The three spicy margaritas using Tongue Tied Hot Sauce are:
- Spiced Kiwi – Jalapeno & Apple (Consigliere) – Mild
- Roast Carrot – Red Chilli & Orange (Capo) – Medium
- Smoked Pineapple – Habanero (Capo dei Capi) – Hot
