Three Fools Coffee partner with Movember to raise money for cancer charities

Movember have sponsored the cups at Three Fools Coffee to raise awareness for men’s health issues.

For those who are unfamiliar, Movember is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November in order to raise awareness for various men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and men’s suicide.

The charity, which has been around since 2003, is aiming to reduce the number of males dying prematurely by 25% by the year 2030, and has funded more than 1,250 men’s health projects around the world, challenging the status quo and transforming the way health services reach and support men.

Speaking to Craving Cork about the movement, Gary of Three Fools said: “Both me and Kevin have lost a parent in the last 12 months to cancer, so we really want to try help raise awareness and raise money for cancer charities.”

The whole team at Three Fools will be going ‘Full Mo’ this Movember by growing their moustaches and raising as much money as they can for men’s health and wellbeing.

Along with the sponsored cups, Three Fools will be taking collections for charities in-store, along with a link in their Instagram bio to make a donation. To help support them in their journey, visit their store on Grand Parade and keep an eye out on their Instagram for the link.
