Introducing: ‘Solstice at The River Club’
Is there anything better than taking a seat on a beautiful summer terrace, sipping on a refreshing cocktail, and watching the world go by?
Continuing in its series of visually stunning seasonal transformations, and ticking all those boxes in Cork city this summer, Solstice at The River Club is the latest creative installation on the popular riverside terrace at The River Lee.
Created in partnership with Cork’s most innovative florist and long-time collaborator, Fox Flowers, the stunning new décor is inspired by the warm hues of a glorious summer sunset.
Clusters of vibrant pink Bougainvillea and lush bursts of greenery evoke memories of continental sunsets and balmy nights, surrounded by the scent of beautiful seasonal florals. And in preparation for every version of an Irish summer on the horizon, The Terrace can also be transformed into a covered oasis and heated summer hideaway at a moment’s notice.
The River Club has partnered with Peroni this summer to create a brand new drinks menu that will be served on the terrace. Drinks include the delicious Sunset Sparkler (Aperol, pink grapefruit juice, prosecco and Peroni Nastro Azzurro) and the refreshing Solstice Serenade (Campari, sweet Vermouth and Peroni Nastro Azzurro). Solstice at The River Club also offers Peroni’s full range of gluten-free and 0.0% options, along with their newest lager, the citrusy Capri Stile.
Solstice at The River Club will also be home to three exciting brunch events over the summer, taking place on Saturday 8th June, Saturday 13th July and Saturday 10th of August – they’ll be serving up their delicious brunch classics with cocktails, ice cream treats and vibey live music, the perfect summer meet up for you and your friends.
