And the main acts have just been announced.
The Cork Podcast Festival has just released its lineup for its second edition this coming August.
The event will feature live podcasts by well-known Irish podcasters such as Blindboy Boatclub and Off The Ball at the Cork Opera House, with more acts to be announced in the coming weeks.
Among the newer shows included in the festival are Left On Read, which explores the realm of online dating and is hosted by Cork natives Brenda Dennehy and Julie Haynes (Twins and Me), and And Another Thing, a female-focused podcast presented by broadcaster Muireann O’Connell and comedian Emma Doran.
The Good Room promoters, known for managing Live at St Luke’s and other events, are the organizers behind Cork Podcast Festival. The festival was initially held in October 2019, but due to the COVID pandemic, plans to make it an annual affair were thwarted.
Bookings for the following acts are now live on the Cork Opera House website:
