2CONNECT’s popular speed-dating event is back in Cork for the new year, and it’s the perfect way to meet, chat and mingle with like-minded people.
Organised by match-maker Hugh, 2CONNECT aims to bring romance, mutual respect and flirting back to Irelands dating scene. The event, which typically sells out, is for singles aged 30-45 and has a 75% success rate.
How does it work?
On arrival, the 2CONNECT host will register you and present you with a dating card, name badge and a pen. Women will typically remain seated, while men rotate tables every 3-5 minutes when the bell rings. After each date, the daters will mark their own cards, indicating if they would like to see the other person again.
At the end of the event, daters must give their cards to the host, and the next day you will receive an email link to view your matches. If you get a match, simply send them an email and the rest is up to you!

The event takes place on Sunday January 30th at 3pm at The Alibi Bar on Washington Street. Tickets start at €33 and can be purchased online here.
