Music to our ears!
The arrival of the new Some Dose café in Cork City is certainly the opposite of a dose (bad
joke, we know)!
Open since their soft launch last Friday, you can follow the scent of delicious coffee and find the new café at the Cork Opera House on Emmett Place. Their Opera House location will be open from Mondays to Fridays, from 8:30am to 3pm each day, so it’s the perfect spot to grab a coffee before work, on your lunch break, or even before a show at the Opera House!
Don’t worry, the other two Some Dose locations – Hanley’s Garden Centre and Turners Cross – are open at weekends (and midweek) for all your caffeine needs. Be sure to check out the opening hours for each location on their Instagram page just to be sure.
Some Dose has become a Cork institution ever since they opened their first location in 2020. You can bet that their Opera House café will be equally as busy as their other cafés, and it’s easy to see why: delicious coffees, matchas, and hot chocolates; a great selection of pastries and sweet treats; local products for sale; and colourful merch. Plus, your coffee will be made by the soundest people ever. What’s not to love?!
“Thank you to every single person that messaged or visited today to wish us well! We
honestly have the best customers and friends,” the team said after opening their new
location last week.
So, whether you’re a coffee geek and think of a dose of coffee or you’re pure Cork and think a dose is the worst thing in the world, you’ve got to check out Some Dose at the Opera House.
We’ll stop with the dose-related puns now – promise!
