And it’s completely free to attend!
Are you looking for some new style for your wardrobe? With everyone heading back to school, college, and work after the summer, now seems like the perfect time to get some new clothes for the coming months. And how cool would it be to do that in an eco-friendly and sustainable way?
Well, we’ve got the answer for you: “Sip & Swap” is back on Sunday the 13th of October! Taking place in Aye (10/11 Anglesea Street) from 12pm to 4pm, this event will allow you to do exactly what it says on the tin – sip some delicious drinks and swap some of your pre-loved clothes in exchange for some new bits of style.
This version of “Sip & Swap” will be in collaboration with Sally of Free Spirit Vintage fame. This means that, along with the clothes swap, there will be a vintage pop-up shop, allowing you to browse and try on a great selection of good quality clothes.
You can buy as many vintage clothes as you’d like from Free Spirit Vintage, but if you want to take part in the clothes swap itself, you have to bring a few items of clothing or accessories you no longer want. This allows for an eclectic selection of clothes to be swapped and to go from wardrobe to wardrobe!
“Sip & Swap” is a free and non-ticketed event, so be sure to check it out on Sunday – go for a browse, see what it’s all about, grab a cocktail or brunch, and see who you might meet.
Happy swapping!
