Elf, Love Actually, the Holiday & Home Alone are screening at the Pop-up Cinema this Christmas

The good news just keeps on rolling in!

The hugely popular Marina Movies, hosted by The Pop Up Movie Club is back by popular demand next month, following their two sell-out screenings of Hocus Pocus on Halloween.

The Marina Market will once again become transformed into a vibey pop-up cinema, complete with festive decor and ambiance, screening everyones favourite holiday classics. Starting on Friday December 9th and running through till Sunday 12th, Marina Movies will be showing Home Alone, Love Actually, Elf and The Holiday. The schedule for the four movies is as follows:

  • Love Actually Thursday 9th December, 7:30pm
  • ELFFriday 10th December, 7:30pm
  • Home AloneSaturday 11th December, 4:30pm
  • The HolidaySaturday 11th December, 7:30pm
  • ELFSunday 12th December, 5pm
  • Home AloneSunday 12th December, 7:30pm

Seating will be provided at the screenings, and there will be plenty of delicious food and treat vendors within the market, so you can chow down as you watch! Tickets are sold in pods of either two (€28) or pods of four (€52) and can be purchased via their website here.

Visitors also have the option to purchase ‘upgraded’ seating, which guarantees you a seat near the screen. Tickets are expected to sell out fast and are extremely limited due to social distancing measures. Vaccination certs will be required upon entry to the pop-up cinema, and facemasks must be worn on entry and exit.
