A giant snail will be (slowly) performing at Marina Market next month

The kids are going to love this!

Yes, you read that correctly.

As part of this year’s Pitch’d Circus Festival, ‘A Snail’s Tale’ will see a captivating walkabout show taking place on the ground’s of Cork’s Marina Market.

Taking place on Saturday September 16th, the performance will tell the tale of Mishelle, the giant left-handed snail, accompanied by Knight errant Sir Babosa and his mediaeval travel writer, hand drawn selfie artist and musical accompanist, Isabeau.

Talking about the performance, Pitch’d Circus describes the event:

“Taking slowly to the streets, this snail out of lettuce trio search  for love for the one in a million Mishelle, while Isabeau records the derring-do of Sir Babosa. In exchange for help on their quest, Sir Babosa and Isabeau – who often find themselves very lost – may gift you with a portrait of Mishelle, and if you’re very lucky, a lovely, luscious lettuce.”

The show will take place on Saturday September 16th at 1:30pm, 2:50pm and 4pm at The Marina Market on Centre Park Road. Admission is free and each show lasts approx. 40 minutes.
