This mindful pilates ‘cacao ceremony’ is the perfect way to end the year

What better way to destress and prepare for the year ahead!

If a cosy, mindful evening of pilates is your cup of tea (or cacao), then listen up, because we’ve got the low-down on the perfect way to end the year.

Hosted by pilates and yoga instructor Shannen Woods, this ‘end of year mindful movement cacao ceremony’ promises to be an evening to meditate, unwind and set intentions for the year ahead.

The ceremony will take place at Collective Cork on Tobin Street

Taking place in Collective Cork, on Saturday December 28th, here’s what will happen during the two-hour event:

Cacao Ceremony – Shannen will begin the day with breath work, accompanied by a comforting cup of hot natural cacao. Guests are invited to take this time to set intentions and practice gratitude.

Gentle Pilates Flow – this will be a slow paced style of Pilates, allowing guests to connect their breath with each movement as they honour this time for the body after all the heavy lifting and carrying it has done this past year. The focus here is to harness the strength generated during the Pilates flow and to set it as intentional energy toward new beginnings in the new year.

Guided visualisation – The session will end with a guided, visualisation mediation which will allow you to feel grounded, calm and relaxed for the new year.

Does this sound like a bit of you? You can grab your ticket now for €30 over on Shannen’s Eventbrite page, here.
