You can watch 2 Cillian Murphy films at Cork’s outdoor cinema this July

In celebration of his recent Oscar win!

This summer, Cork’s favourite outdoor cinema, Scenic Cinema, invites you to an enchanting day & night of film in the historic gardens of one of Cork’s most iconic landmarks.

Taking place on July 27th, Scenic Cinema will be bringing a unique outdoor cinema event at Cork City Gaol, featuring a family favourite classic and a tribute to Cork’s own Oscar-
successful star, Cillian Murphy.

2 PM – The Greatest Showman
Kick off the day with a dazzling performance by Hugh Jackman in “The Greatest
Showman,”
a perfect family-friendly film that celebrates the birth of show business
and tells of a visionary who rose from nothing to create a spectacle that became a
worldwide sensation.

4:45 PM – The Dark Knight
As night falls, experience the thrill and suspense of “The Dark Knight”. Featuring a
stellar performance by Cillian Murphy alongside Christian Bale, this film remains a
cornerstone of superhero cinema.

8:15 PM – The Wind That Shakes the Barley
Cap off the night with “The Wind That Shakes the Barley,” a powerful portrayal of
Ireland’s fight for independence, starring Cillian Murphy. This film, which has
resonated with audiences and critics alike, offers a deep, emotional connection to
Ireland’s own history.

Tickets are available now and can be purchased over at the Scenic Cinema website here, starting at €12 for kids and €15 for adults. There is upgrade seating available and you also have the option to sit on the grass.
