This Cork cafe have just unveiled a delicious new breakfast dish

Beloved Palestinian restaurant Izz Cafe have just released a tasty-looking new breakfast dish, and it looks nothing short of amazing!

The native Middle Eastern delicacy is called ‘fatayer‘, and is a small, savoury, pastry-like meat pie filled with various cheeses and toppings (take my money!)

The new breakfast dish is made in-house using Izz Cafe’s famous pillowy bread, with eggs and cheese as the base. Customers can then choose from a variety of fillings and toppings, such as sausages, mince beef, cubed potatoes, black olives, jalapeños, sesame seeds and more – sounds delish!

Fatayer is best enjoyed warm and fresh out the oven, as this is when it is at it’s ‘fluffiest’, can be pulled apart easily and melts in the mouth. The dish pairs well with fresh mint tea, and is available to try now at 14 George’s Quay.
