That’s right, there’s a treehouse AirBNB available to rent in the heart of Cork city!
‘Urban Tranquiltree’ is located at the top of St Patrick’s Hill, nestled amongst the trees overlooking the city centre. And it’s nothing short of incredible.
A rope bridge and wooden stairs lead the way to this fully insulated treehouse, which stands at 6 meters above ground level. The structure has two levels, with a cosy bedroom on the upper and a wet-room bathroom on the lower. The upper level also has a balcony with panoramic views of the city.
Fun fact: Breakfast, which consists of warm croissants and preserves, is delivered directly to guests from the balcony in a basket via rope pulley from the owners down below. Doesn’t get much better than that, eh?
You can book your stay here, but be warned, demand is high and the Treehouse is often booked out several months in advance.
