And tickets go on sale tomorrow!
Taking to social media to make the announcement, Cork-based music festival Indiependence have just announced the first 10 acts to perform at Deer Park next year, seven of which are from Ireland.
The festival takes place every year in August in Mithcelstown, and last year was one of the biggest ever festivals following a 2-year Covid hiatus.
The following acts have just been announced to perform at the 2023 festival:
- Two Door Cinema Club
- Annie Mac
- The Coronas
- Belters Only
- Cian Ducrot
- King Kong Company
- Nathan Dawe
- DJ Arielle Free
This will be Douglas-native Cian Ducrot’s first time performing at Indiependence, who recently shot to fame following his successful single ‘All For You’. The Cork singer has opened up about how much his life has changed, from being homeless and busking on the streets to selling out gigs all over the UK and Ireland.
Around 12,000 people attend the festival each year and it has become a staple in the calendar for many people across Ireland. The 3-day weekend festival also brings in approximately €2 million to Mitchelstown’s economy every August.
Tickets for Indie 2023 go sale tomorrow, Saturday 5th November at 10am and can be purchased via Ticketmaster.ie.
