And this year they have more dates added!
Get ready to be laughing until your stomach hurts in December because the Improv Panto is making its annual return to Cork Opera House! From the 6th of December until the 28th of December, you can expect the unexpected at every single show. They certainly aren’t lying when they say, “It’s a different panto EVERY night!”
For the first time ever, there will be two extra Improv Panto shows on Friday 27th and Saturday 28th of December. That means you can still enjoy the good vibes, belly laughs, and Christmas cheer even after Christmas Day itself.
Just to let you know in case you’re unsure: the Improv Panto is strictly over 18’s only, so it might be best to stick to the more traditional panto if you think that’d be more your cup of tea!
The Improv Panto is definitely quite different from the traditional panto, and it ain’t for the faint hearted! Since the audience gets to participate throughout the show (okay, that’s similar to the traditional panto) you get to choose the story, who plays what character, and what the characters get up to as they show goes on. All we can say is expect hilarious Cork references coming from your favourite fairy-tale characters, not-so-PG jokes, brilliantly random plot twists, iconic songs, and just all-round Christmas chaos – in the best way possible.
“Gather your family and friends, don your festive sparkle, and come enjoy the most unpredictable and uproarious event of the season!” the Opera House says! This panto is ideal for both Christmas and office parties.
