Head to Test Site on Kyrl’s Quay for their July Summer Series events

That’s your weekend plan sorted!

If you’re looking for some interesting events or things to do over the summer, you should definitely check out Test Site on Kryl’s Quay!

Their Summer Series features a variety of activities that’ll take place in July: “We have an exciting line-up of events coming your way,” they say on Instagram, “crafted with care and creativity by our amazing community, with a little something for everyone to enjoy.”

Last weekend, the Test Site hub was a hive of activity with the Quarter Block Party, but don’t worry if you missed that because there are loads of other things to check out for the rest of the month.

The 25th and 27th of July will see the Dose 08 Weekender taking place – a Cork-based DJ collective and multi-disciplinary platform creating spaces and events for local talent and the diaspora. Thursday’s gig at Test Site will feature Serpentine and Niamh Dalton, and Saturday’s gig will feature Rory Sweeney, Flowers at Night, Famous Tex, and Julie Landers (DJ).

If you’re looking for engaging discussions and a chance to voice your opinion, head to the Test Site Town Hall on the 26 th of July – one session from 4pm-5pm and another from 6pm-
7pm.

This is a great opportunity, especially if you’ve participated in Test Site events in the past, to share your ideas on the future of the unique space in Cork City. Or if you’re free on the 28th of July, head to the Kryl’s Quay hub for their Sketch & Chat event from 11am-2pm and their Board Games at Test Site event from 2pm-4pm.

So, that’ll definitely keep you busy for the month of July! And even if you go to just one event, it’ll be a great opportunity to meet likeminded people, have a bit of craic, and enjoy the summer in the city. Unreal!
