Looking for something different to keep your kids occupied over the summer? Well, you’re
in luck! The Glucksman art gallery still has spaces for their Summer Art Clubs, which are
happening in both July and August.
The art clubs are made with two different age groups in mind – 5 to 8 year olds and 9 to 12
year olds – and are sure to get your little ones thinking outside of the box, with the art that’s
planned taking inspiration from nature as well as art history.
The art clubs all take place from 9am to 1pm, and the dates for the different groups are:
5-8 years: Art & Nature
– 8th – 12th July
– 22nd – 26th July
– 6th – 9th August
– 19th – 23rd August
9-12 years: Imagine, Discover, Create
– 15th – 19th July
– 29th July – 2nd August
– 12th – 26th August
Commenting on the summer clubs, The Glucksman mentions:
“We are excited to be offering creative clubs for young people through July and August. Led by experienced facilitators, children will undertake imaginative projects and create unique artworks when learning about painting, sculpture, printmaking, collage and drawing.
“Glucksman Art Clubs fuel children’s imaginations, develop their artistic skills and encourage their creativity. Each session is carefully designed to provide age- appropriate projects and are delivered in a friendly and positive environment.”
