Unresponsive dog pulled from a house fire makes a full recovery

Round of apaws for the Cork City Fire Brigade!

Earlier this week, Cork City Fire Brigade responded to a house fire in the city where they rescued the family pet dog, Max.

Max was unresponsive at the time of the fire at Dillon’s Cross but crews managed to pull him from the blaze and put a special pet oxygen mask on him, which was specially designed to fit an animals snout.

After some time, Max thankfully woke up and was then taken to Sunbeam Veterinary Hospital where he made a full recovery. A spokesperson for Cork City Fire Brigade mentioned:

“Max has made a PawSome recovery after his Ruff week. He’s getting his final bit of pampering from Sunbeam Veterinary Hospital before going home. A big round of Apaws for all the staff. All the best Max!”
