Alpha, a brand new state of the art commercial gym, recently opened its doors for the first time, and it looks absolutely sensational.
Founded and operated by Cork-native Joanna McCarthy (@_Josiemc_) and a team of four other instructors & trainers, Alpha comes fully kitted out with top of the range equipment, guaranteed to get you in tip-top shape.
Located in South Link Business Park in Grange, the new gym offers a range of services, including gym membership, one-to-one personal training, group personal training sessions, spin classes, dance, yoga classes, youth programming, nutrition programmes, and even performance and life coaching.
The sleek, black-on-black interior of this gym is trés chic and trés Insta-worthy, and don’t even get us started on those vanity mirrors in the changing rooms! The neon spin studio is also a total vibe (and it’s dimly-lit so nobody can see that bucket of sweat dripping down your face!)
The Alpha team already have a jam-packed weekly schedule of classes seven days a week, from spinning, yoga and circuits to dancing, so there’s sure to be something to suit all levels of fitness (and if you can’t find a babysitter, they even have a dedicated kids area!)

The gang had their soft-launch on Saturday January 29th, and the main gym floor will be completely free of charge until February 11th for anyone who would like to come try it out. Bookings for all services can be made through the app ‘Glofox’ available in the app store and google store, and the Alpha website (alphaandco.ie) will be launching this weekend.
The official Alpha open day will be held this Saturday, February 5th at the South Link Business Park in Grange, so be sure to swing by, enjoy the DJ, grab some tasty food & beverages and check out the official Alpha merchandise.
