Here’s all you need to know about this year’s Cork Summer Show

The hugely popular show returns to Cork this June!

Taking place in the Cork Showgrounds, Curraheen (take Exit 2 off the N40), on June 15th & 16th, both days of the 2024 Summer Show will be packed with activities, shows, competitions, and more.

That’s the weekend sorted for everyone, so!

First started in 1806 and organised by the Munster Agricultural Society, the Cork Summer Show has taken place over 200 years, so they really do know how to put on a show!

Not sure what to do over the weekend? There are 20 different zones to check out: from
music to food, show jumping to pets, retail to motors & vintage zone.

As well as that, there are different competitions happening over the course of the weekend, so now’s your chance to show off any of your agricultural, arts and crafts, baking, or floral art skills!

Just in case that wasn’t enough to keep you busy, the Cork Summer Show has put together a
list of 50 things to do for free over the weekend of the show. Why not dance to the live music, get tasters of locally produced food and drink, chat with local farmers and see their agricultural equipment, check out a selection of vintage vehicles, see miniature ponies, get
your face painted, watch the tug of war competitions, and more!

A 1-day ticket for an adult costs €25 and can be purchased here. Anyone under 16 can enter
for free, but tickets must be shown to be allowed entry to the Showgrounds. Grab yours now over at the official website here.
