The witch is back!
Ireland’s leading drag haus and Cork legends, Mockie Ah, have revealed the lineup for their Cork Pride 2024 show at The Pav, and it features Cork superstar Bambie Thug home after their recent Eurovision success.
”Our witch is coming home and we are so incredibly proud to welcome them over pride weekend here in Cork. They have been flying the flight for Irish LGBTQIA and Cork talent and we can’t wait to celebrate them”, says Mockie Ah host Candy Warhol.
Mockie Ah will also be joined by special guests Charity Kase from Rupaul’s Drag Race UK and Bestiah from Drag Race Spain. Both queens have amassed a massive following online following their successful appearances on the hit shows.
The night, which takes place on August 4th at Cork’s Pavilion Bar on Carey’s Lane, will be hosted by Candy Warhol and also feature Mockie Ah acts Mia Gold, Richard Joke, Letycha Le’Synn, Robert Von Hart, Lucy Loose, Abra Kedavre, Vicky Gold, Lola Le’Synn and several special guest DJs.
Recently named one of Ireland’s top tourist attractions by BBC One’s The Travel Show, Mockie Ah’s Cork Pride weekend looks set to be their biggest yet as the queens will also be hosting a special Drag Brunch at Cork’s Old Town Whiskey Bar at Bodega on the morning of Pride.
”We try to amp things up each year, with something for everyone and this will definitely be our biggest lineup yet. Our night at The Pavilion is going to be an incredible pride celebration and our Drag Brunch at The Bodega will be the perfect way to kick off the Pride celebrations!”.
