Introducing: ‘Scenic Cinema’
Scenic Cinema is a brand new movie screening event, and it’s landing in Cork just in time for Easter.
The new mobile cinema company will be playing everyones favourite chartbuster movies in some very unique places across Cork (and beyond) this summer, and their very first event is no exception.
Scenic Cinema will be kicking off in style this Easter with a Harry Potter Weekender event taking place at Cork’s Marina Market. This three-day event will show four of the Harry Potter franchise films, which include:
- Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets 7pm, 15/04
- Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 3pm, 16/04
- Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix 6pm, 16/04
- Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince 6pm, 17/04
A dedicated event space at the Marina Market will be transformed into a unique cinema experience, complete with comfy seating and a giant screen.
General seating will be sold in pods, and you also have the option to upgrade to ‘VIP Silver’ (inflatable seating) or ‘VIP Gold’ (couches), however these tickets are limited.
Guests are advised to arrive 15-30 mins before the movie start time, and you can bring any of the food from the Marina Market into the cinema with you, provided you dispose of your rubbish correctly.
General seats can be purchased in pods/groups of 2,3,4,5 and 6 people, depending on the size of your group or family. Tickets start at €25 for a pod of 2, and can be purchased via the Scenic Cinema website.
