Located just up the road from St. Colman’s Cathedral in Cobh at 3 Midleton St, Kilgarvan (Eircode P24 TP23), they are open all week except for Tuesdays. Serving a wide range of dishes, Boname Food offers wraps, doner, pizza, burgers, desserts, and more. Even just looking at their IG stories is making us hungry: fresh ingredients, fresh pita, crispy chips, doner meal boxes that are nearly overflowing with food, the list goes on!
If you’re feeling adventurous, you could try one of their Boname specials: how about a lahmacun – aka a Turkish pizza – or even a lamb doner ring – like a pizza – with chips in the middle of it. They have a nice selection of veggie options too – enjoy a wrap, pizza, veggie burger, or falafel salad, so there really is something to suit everyone.
Now we hear you ask, “What’s for dessert?” We hope you’ve left some room for a sweet treat after your meal because you have to try the Boname Food dessert offerings.
They’ve got a strawberry chocolate ring, which is almost like a pizza dough ring drizzled with melted chocolate and topped with strawberries. Or maybe you’re in the mood for their kunefe – a traditional Arabic dessert, made with spun pastry, soaked in a sugar syrup, and topped with pistachios. They also have a chocolate banana pizza as well as a deep-fried chocolate calzone, so there’s no chance you’ll be leaving with an empty stomach!
