Truffle Mayo and a festive Ballymaloe Relish jar also among new Christmas launches
Ballymaloe Foods, known the world over for its iconic Ballymaloe Relish, has collaborated with i-Stil38 Premium Irish Vodka to create a limited edition product just in time for the holiday season.
The two Irish companies have joined forces to create Ballymaloe Vodka Cranberry Sauce, a new seasonal condiment infused with i-Stil38 Pink Berries Vodka, which has a rich fruity flavour. The result is a grown-up twist on a traditional cranberry sauce which will dial up the taste of roast turkey, nut loaf or a cheese board, and can even be used to create festive Christmas cocktails.
The second limited edition product in the Ballymaloe Foods Festive Favourites range is Ballymaloe Truffle Mayo. This is an indulgent, decadent mayonnaise blended with Italian summer truffles, parmesan, extra virgin olive oil and black garlic. This mayo will elevate the taste of any dish and would be an ideal Christmas stocking filler for the foodie in your life.
Ballymaloe Relish has long held a special place in Irish homes over the Christmas holiday period. This year, for the very first time, the company has launched a limited edition design for its legendary relish, as part of its Festive Favourites range. The label has a contemporary festive theme and is sure to inject a pop of colour to Christmas tables all over the country.
Commenting on the Christmas products, Maxine Hyde, General Manager of Ballymaloe Foods said:
“We’ve done many partnerships with quality Irish companies over the years and the link up with i-Stil38 builds upon this journey. Our limited edition Vodka Cranberry Sauce has so many uses either at the Christmas dinner table, as an addition to a celebratory cocktail, or with party food.
Our BallymaloeTruffle Mayo has all the rich flavours that we love at this time of the year when we are looking to treat ourselves. We wanted to thank our loyal customers this Christmas so we developed a festive themed label for our Ballymaloe Relish which we hope people will love as much as we do!”
Ballymaloe Foods was founded in 1990 by Yasmin Hyde, daughter of Myrtle Allen. While it remains a family business to this day, the company now produces a wide variety of award-winning relishes, sauces and condiments, made in its purpose-built kitchens in Little Island, County Cork, and enjoyed all around the world.
