What’s better than sushi? All you can eat sushi, that’s what.
And lucky for us, Cork’s newest sushi spot will be hosting an ‘all you can eat’ sushi event for one day only this week. Located in Ballincollig shopping centre, Mayumi is a brand new sushi restaurant, brining a unique fusion of Japanese elegance and Filipino flair to Cork.
A sister restaurant of the popular Sensei Café on Mardyke Street in the city, which has fast become a fan favourite amongst sushi lovers in the city, Mayumi will incorporate a much more expansive menu, including all of the Sensei sushi staples, along with rich, traditional hot Japanese cuisine.
The expanded menu features a range of curries, fried rice and soup dishes, sushi platters, traditional Filipino ube ice cream, and more, and the brand new restaurant has been tastefully designed and is filled with beautifully painted custom-murals by Saucy Pups, depicting Mayumi owner’s personal stories and memories from their hometown in the Philippines.
And now for the best part.
To celebrate the grand opening, Mayumi will be hosting an ‘all you can eat’ sushi event for one day only. Taking place this Sunday April 28th from 12:30pm – 9pm, customers can enjoy unlimited sushi at the Ballincollig restaurant for just €19.50.
No bookings are required on the day and they will be accepting walk-in’s only. There will be a 2-hour limit for each customer, and you can order up to 3 sushi items at a time (to avoid waste).
You can find Mayumi at Castlewest Shopping Centre in Ballincollig and be sure to follow their new journey over on Instagram.
