You can workout like a VIP at Cork’s newly revamped health & wellness centre.
District has finally reopened its doors to the public, following the recent easing of restrictions, and is one of the only five-star luxury health centres in Cork. Located behind the Silversprings Hotel, the centre is packed full of top of the range amenities:
Gym:
One of the main features at District has to be the 8,000 square foot gym, which comes kitted out with state of the art Precor equipment. The large, air-conditioned gym has everything you need to work-out, and has has expert trainers on-hand to help you achieve your fitness goals.
Pool:
The 25-meter pool offers a wide selection of activities, from swimming lessons, lifeguard training and aerobics, and even triathlon training. Oh, and did we mention they also have a state of the art steam room and the largest sauna in Cork?
Hair + Beauty:
Fancy sprucing yourself up after a workout? District has its own on-site beauty salon, offering a range of specialised Elemis treatments, hairdressing services, massages and more. Fancy, eh?
Spin Classes:
District offers a range of spin classes for all levels, but the most impressive part is that they hold some of their classes on the rooftop balcony, overlooking Cork city and the River Lee (warning: sunglasses and SPF are a must!)
Squash:
Fancy a game of squash? The centre boasts two large squash courts, which is a great way to get in shape while having fun! The courts are available for both teams and groups to rent out on an ongoing basis.
Astro:
Craving a kick-about? District has two six-aside astro pitches to rent on an on-going or weekly basis, one indoor and one outdoor. These pitches are ideal for club training, team training or for friendly practice games.
