Temperatures are set to sky rocket this summer, reaching year-round highs of 30+ degrees. What better way to dine in the scorching heat with a gorgeous view of Cork city?
We’ve compiled a list of our favourite rooftop bars to check out in Cork:
1. Perch
Perch is Cork’s newest rooftop bar, having opened its doors earlier this month. Located at 77 Grand Parade (above SOHO) this trendy new cocktail bar offers the highest birds eye views of the city, with floor-ceiling walls, funky interiors and an open-air roof. Bookings can be made online here.
2. Sophie’s Rooftop
Sophie’s Rooftop at the newly opened Dean hotel is an absolute must this summer – with uncompromising views of the Port of Cork city, this glasshouse rooftop offers tantalising cocktails and some of the finest cuisine. Book your spot here, but be warned, spaces are often booked out months in advance (and we can see why!)
3. Clancy’s
Clancy’s opened its open-air rooftop & pizzeria last year, following an incredible refurb, and it’s been a massive hit with the people of Cork ever since. The perfect venue for a cocktail and a catch-up with the gang – tables can be booked online here.
4. Queen of Rebels
This charming rooftop venue, formerly known as Suas, opened its doors just under a year ago. The heated rooftop patio serves tasty classic cocktails, craft beers and refreshing coolers, and guests also have the option of ordering food from WOW burger, located downstairs. Tables can be booked in advance here.
5. Panorama Terrace @ The Montenotte
The Botanical Panorama Terrace at The Montenotte Hotel offers stunning views of Cork city and overlooks the hotels Victorian Gardens. The heated rooftop terrace offers lite bites from their snack menu as well as an extensive range of drinks. Book your slot here (walk-ins and bookings for non-residents are available but not guaranteed.)
6. SOHO Garden Rooftop
The SOHO garden rooftop terrace always looks incredible, and this year they’ve gone all out with a tropical Aperol Spritz-themed oasis! Our Craveourite food items are the wings + nachos, washed down with a frozen strawberry daiquiri. Get your fix & book online here.
